Myeongdong was exactly what we expected from a busy Seoul shopping district—bright signs, cosmetics, snacks and plenty of energy. We enjoyed trying street food between shops. It is especially convenient if you want shopping and sightseeing in the same area.
We booked this because we didn’t know where to start in Seoul. The itinerary gave us a good introduction to Korean history, traditional architecture and local neighborhoods without spending the whole day inside museums. The biggest advantage was having private transportation between the main areas. There is still quite a lot of walking once you arrive at each attraction, so comfortable shoes are important. I would recommend doing this tour early in your Korea trip because it helped us understand the city before exploring on our own.
Had a relaxed neighborhood feeling that we really enjoyed. The narrow lanes, small restaurants and old houses made it easy to forget that we were still in the middle of Seoul. This was one of my favorite areas for simply wandering.
We also added Namsangol Hanok Village to our itinerary, and it was a lovely way to experience traditional Korean architecture without spending the entire day outside central Seoul. The beautiful wooden hanok houses, peaceful courtyards, and traditional details gave us a glimpse into Korea’s past. It was a relaxing stop and a nice contrast to the busy streets and modern city atmosphere surrounding it.
Our first day in Seoul was exactly what we needed. We visited beautiful historic areas, modern neighborhoods, and scenic viewpoints without having to worry about transportation. The itinerary gave us a great introduction to both traditional and modern Korea. Our driver was punctual and helpful throughout the day. Perfect for first-time visitors
Insadong gave us a nice introduction to Korean traditional culture without leaving central Seoul. We enjoyed browsing traditional crafts and small souvenir stores and stopping for tea. The streets have a completely different personality from the shopping areas nearby.
We had such a wonderful time exploring Seoul with NoljaKorea! The city lights were absolutely beautiful, and the experience felt even better because everything was well organized and easygoing. Our friendly driver was helpful and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. It was a lovely experience and definitely a memorable part of our Korea vacation!
This was a fantastic way to experience Seoul while staying in Busan. We visited Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village and N Seoul Tower, giving us a great mix of Korean history, traditional culture and modern city views. The KTX made the journey convenient, and having a private itinerary once we arrived made the day feel organized and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Seoul from Busan.
Hongdae was full of youthful energy. We enjoyed walking around the colorful streets, checking out small shops and stopping whenever something caught our attention. It is definitely a neighborhood where leaving some free time in the itinerary makes sense.
Para quem está hospedado em Busan mas quer conhecer Seul, esta excursão foi uma ótima opção. A viagem de KTX torna o deslocamento muito mais prático, e depois tivemos transporte privado para visitar os principais pontos. Gyeongbokgung e Bukchon mostram o lado histórico e tradicional da cidade, enquanto a N Seoul Tower oferece uma vista completamente diferente de Seul. É uma boa alternativa para quem tem pouco tempo e quer aproveitar ao máximo um dia na capital.
Gyeongbokgung Palace was extremely crowded when we visited, so our driver suggested going to Bongeunsa Temple instead. It turned out to be a wonderful change of plan. The temple was surprisingly peaceful despite being so close to the busy Gangnam area. Seeing the traditional Korean buildings surrounded by modern skyscrapers created one of the most fascinating contrasts we experienced in Seoul. It was a beautiful and calming place to slow down and enjoy a quieter side of the city.
