Andong was one of the places that made us feel like we had stepped away from modern Korea. Hahoe Village is much quieter than Seoul, with traditional houses and natural scenery surrounding the village. It’s a better choice for travelers who enjoy history and culture than for people looking for shopping or nightlife. Because it is farther from Seoul, I would recommend planning the day carefully and allowing enough travel time.
We had such a lovely day with NoljaKorea! The itinerary was well planned and gave us plenty of time to enjoy each stop and take photos. The car was comfortable, and our driver was so friendly and accommodating. It felt like traveling with someone who genuinely wanted us to have a great experience.
Visiting Hahoe Village and the World Mask Museum was such a memorable experience! The beautiful traditional masks, rich Korean heritage, and unique stories behind each piece made the visit truly special. It was wonderful to discover a different side of Korea beyond the usual tourist spots.

Partendo da Busan, questo tour ci ha permesso di scoprire un lato molto più tradizionale della Corea. Hahoe Folk Village è stato il punto forte della giornata: le case tradizionali, il paesaggio e l’atmosfera tranquilla erano completamente diversi da Busan. Anche il Mask Museum è stato interessante per conoscere meglio la cultura locale. È un’escursione ideale per chi vuole dedicare una giornata alla storia e alle tradizioni coreane.
If you’re looking for a place where you can truly slow down and appreciate Korea’s history, Dosan Seowon is a must-visit. The peaceful atmosphere, traditional architecture, and stunning riverside views make it feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Walking through the academy and seeing the small pavilion on the island was one of the most memorable parts of the trip.
It wasn’t crowded, which made it easy to enjoy the quiet surroundings and take beautiful photos. I loved how well-preserved everything is, and the natural scenery made the experience even more relaxing. If you enjoy culture, history, or simply want a break from the busy city, this place is definitely worth adding to your itinerary.
